This year, new engineering infrastructure will be installed at 21 locations, while expansion and renovations will take place at 143 locations. In 2025, a total of 682 projects related to roads, engineering infrastructure, and landscaping will be implemented across the capital. Of these, 164 projects will focus on engineering infrastructure, including new installations at 21 locations. Additionally, modifications to the main heating supply lines will be carried out at 11 locations in connection with road construction projects. For example, the heating pipeline will span 13 km, with 8.7 km being the main pipeline. The network within residential complexes will cover 15 km, the clean water pipeline will stretch 1.1 km, and the sewage system will extend 12.4 km. The stormwater drainage system for roads will total 15.6 km across seven locations. Additionally, a new 8 km flood protection embankment and drain will be constructed.

This information was clarified by L. Altangerel, the Director and Chief Engineer of the Urban Infrastructure Department of the Ulaanbaatar City Authority. He mentioned, "Since 2008, the construction of the 'Tuul-1' sewage collector from Gachuurt to the Central Treatment Plant has been planned for 30 km. However, due to a lack of funding, the project has been delayed for many years. The city's leadership has taken action, and more than 10 km of sewage collector will be constructed. Additionally, the main heating supply network is under state ownership. With funding from the World Bank, this year, heating pipeline work will be carried out in areas such as the residential complexes and from the Zhukov Museum to the Otgontenger University. He also stated, "Therefore, within the scope of repairs and renovations, we urge citizens to be patient. We will begin the engineering infrastructure work in April next year.
